Most of us in Sydney live in both: a sangeet one weekend, the races or a Christmas party the next. Most rental sites do one or the other. My closet has Zimmermann and Aje next to Masaba and Anisha Shetty, so you can find the right outfit for both in one place, from one person who has worn them all.

About me

Hi, I'm Divya

I'm a mum in Chatswood with a closet full of dresses I've worn and loved: Zimmermann and Aje for lunches and birthdays, and sarees, shararas and Masaba for weddings and Diwali.

Most of them were worn once or twice, then sat in the wardrobe. Why buy for one night? So I'm opening my closet. Every piece here has been on me first, and I'll help you find the right fit myself.

Good to know

The fine print, kept short

How long can I keep it?

4 days. It arrives the day before your event and goes back the day after. Need longer? 8 days is available on request.

Is there a bond?

Yes, $100 for every outfit. It's refunded in full within 2 days of the outfit coming back in good condition.

Can I try it on first?

Yes, if you're in Sydney. Try-ons are by appointment in Chatswood. Just message me.

What if it doesn't fit?

Message me within 12 hours of it arriving and I'll swap it for another available outfit in your size (you cover any extra postage).

Can I take a back-up?

Yes. Add a second outfit for $25, wear one and return the other unworn. If you wear both, the full hire applies to the second.

Do I need to clean it?

No, cleaning is on me. Please don't wash, iron or steam it. For creases, hang it in a steamy bathroom.

What if I return it late?

Ask me before your return date and you can usually extend at 10% off. Late returns without an extension are $20 a day, taken from the bond.

Can I get a refund?

The hire fee is non-refundable once your booking is confirmed, because I hold the outfit for you and turn other renters away. If plans change, message me early. If the outfit doesn't arrive in time because of me, you get the hire fee back in full.

Can I buy a dress?

Most pieces can be bought. Just ask and I'll give you a price.

How do I pay?

Once I've confirmed your date, you pay the hire and bond by card or PayID to lock it in.
